This is an exceptional release of any bhajan on this blog. The reason is that it is not Sai Baba bhajan, though it has great importance. Sai Baba is considered as an incarnation of Lord Dattatreya and this reference has been given at various places in Sacred Text Shri Sai Satcharitra. Today being Lord Dattatreya Jayanti, Datta Bavani in Gujarati is being released on this blog with grace of Sai Baba for benefit of gujarati devotees.

Meaning of Bavani - Bavani is a hymn of 52 (bavan) lines. Such hymns praising and depicting importance and information on various God and Goddesses have been written. They have very powerful insight in them to create positive waves around while reciting.

First of all i am thankful to singer of this bhajan Pujya Shri Jagdishanandji who gave me chance to share this piece of music through this blessed blog. The name Pujya Shri Jagdishanandji is not well known among many Sai Baba devotees. As an introduction to him, i can say that he is staunch devotee of Sai Baba and Lord Dattatreya. His style of living is similar to that of a saint and he is very good singer awarded with national award in singing. Datt Bavani is sung by him in various different tunes (both live and recorded) which surprises the listener.
